THE REPUBLICAN ASTRONOMICAL TOURNAMENT OF SCHOOLCHILDREN

 

On October 17-24, 2018, the Republican Astronomical Tournament of Schoolchildren (hereinafter referred to as the Astrotournament) was held at the base of the Observatory of the NSPEHC “Bobek”.

This year, Turekhanova Kunduz Mominovna, Ph.D., associate professor of the department of plasma physics, nanotechnology, and computer physics at the physics and technology faculty of the KazNU after named al-Farabi, became the jury chairman of the Astrotournament. The jury included Abishev M.E. – correspondent member NAS of RK, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics KazNU after named Al-Farabi, A. Kupchishin – dr.ph.-m.sc., professor KazNPU after named Abay, Ershina A.K. – dr.ph.-m.sc., professor of the Kazakh State Teacher Training Center and scientists of the Astrophysical Institute after named Fesenkov V.G., employees and teachers of scientific and educational institutions, including the employees of the NSPEHC “Bobek”.

The winning teams participating in the Astrotournament were awarded Diplomas of I, II, III degree. Letters of thanks on behalf of the Director General of the NSPEHC “Bobek” received heads of teams.

Diplomas of the third degree were awarded to four teams: East Kazakhstan region, Karaganda region, TEFMS, Almaty and RSHA named after Abay, Almaty;

The second place was taken by three teams: the South Kazakhstan region, the North Kazakhstan region and the RFMS team.

The first place was won by the team of the gymnasium “Self-knowledge” of Almaty and the team of school No. 34 of Almaty.

The Grand Prix was awarded to the team of NIS FMD in Almaty, speaking in the following composition: Melis Alibi, Karshyga Erbol, Manap Diaz, Manabaev Zhіnіbek, Syranov Zhangir, Akizhanov Daniyar.

The Republican Astronomical Tournament for schoolchildren opened many talented names, intelligent and curious guys who study outer space – these are our future scientists and researchers, who will have great discoveries.
